Snackle is a free daily game. This page explains what information is used when you play, and why.
What's saved on your device
Your games, scores, streaks, friend code, the name you choose and your friends list are saved in your own browser, on your device. They aren't sent to us. Clearing your browser data deletes them.
Friend links
When you share your result or an invite, the link contains your friend code and the name you chose, if you set one. Anyone you send it to can see these. Don't use your full name if you'd rather not share it.
Visitor statistics
We count visits and a few game events, such as games finished and results shared, to see how Snackle is used. We use Umami and Cloudflare Web Analytics. Neither uses cookies or identifies you personally.
Advertising
Snackle doesn't show ads at the moment. If we add them later, we'll update this page first, and visitors in the UK and Europe will be asked for their consent before any advertising cookies are used.
Emails you send us
If you email us with a snack suggestion or a question, we use your email only to reply. We don't add you to any mailing list.
Children
Snackle is a general audience game and isn't aimed at children under 13.
Your rights
If you're in the UK or Europe, you can ask what personal data we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete it. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
